What I learnt about the Salvation Army today, by Oliver

They  helpt   the   piypol   theat    ar   ingad. (Oliver wrote this sentence on his own and remembered the full stop and capital letter)
They had blue, red and gold for their flag. Red was for blood, blue was for God and yellow for spirit. The Salvation army help homeless people by giving them food, work and beds. They treat them nicely when they have no money, no food and no roof over their heads.
People from the Salvation Army wear a tie, a white shirt, black trousers, shiny shoes, a hat and a jacket. At Christmas and Easter they sing songs and play in a brass band.
